Learning objectives

The student * formulates analyses and conclusions in a logical, professional financial language (in English)

                    * calculates and analyses the financial consequences for investment- and financing decisions

                    * knows the various aspects of  investment- and financing decisions

                    * judges investment opportunities, contributes to the assessment of long-term and short-term debts and active capital, and offers assistance in the management of financial risks. 

                    * prepares liquidity forecasts and ratio analyses. You assess the value of an investment proposal.

                    * describes and works with various forms of long-term financing (equity and debt).

 

 

 

Accounting: profit and loss accounting; balance sheet; straight-line depreciation

Finance: basic knowledge of the time-value of money (compounding and discounting future cash flows)

English Language
