Aims

LR5:
The student knows the different forms of audiovisual products
The student knows the different phases of audiovisual productions (pre-production - production - post-production).
The student is familiar with the terms used in the audiovisual visual language.
Students can create their own journalistic video product within a set format (basic level).

LR6:
The student knows the technical concepts of video creation
The student applies the technical concepts of video creation in a real practical assignment (basic level).
The student knows the technical possibilities of various audiovisual recording devices (basic level)

Course material

A subscription to ProMediaLab (promedialab.be) is compulsory for this course unit (OPO). Every student registered for this OPO will receive an invoice for this. A ‘light’ subscription is required for this OPO; the fee for this is set at €50 per academic year (regardless of the number of OPOs). No exceptions are possible. Students officially deregistered for an OPO on 15 October (sem1 courses) or 10 March (sem2 courses) of the applicable academic year will not receive an invoice or a refund of the amount already paid.“
