Aims
LO 8 - Multilingual Communicative - elementary
Learning objectives:
- The student acquires, partly independently, the basic morphology and grammar of the language.
- He/she understands information from basic (e.g. job-related) instructions and texts about general, familiar topics in a clear oral standard language.
- He/she acquires some tourist information about Germany.
- The student understands basic vocabulary from his own environment as well as job-related vocabulary, when people speak slowly and clearly. He/she understands a simple text.
- He/she applies the rules for correct pronunciation and can read an easy German text fluently.
- The student can communicate in simple and routine conversation requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters; can describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need, e.g. at a reception, in a travel agency,... .
- He/she applies the vocabulary and the grammar rules in exercises.

Explanation
First chance - second exam period (June):
Exam during the examination period:
oral with written component: 60% for the written part (grammar, vocab) and 40% for the oral one (conversation)
Second chance - third exam period (August-September): idem
If the result for the written part is 6/20 or less, then the student can't obtain more then 9/20.
