Aims
The student can
- recognize basic information security concepts, errors and solutions from practical use cases
- explain the factors that influence the information security of an application.
- formulate the balance between security and ease of use using examples.
- understand basic principles of cryptography ( encryption, hashing)
- explain the usefulness and application of international standards.
- articulate the basic principles of an information security policy and plan.
- recognize assets, threats, risks and vulnerabilities in a given problem statement.
